New Roof for Rectory

After struggling through a wet winter of leaking ceilings in the Rectory with cracked and damaged roof tiles, Parish Council decided that the Rectory needed a new roof. In just one day, the old tiles were removed and a new roof replaced.  What a transformation.

Now we just need some spring showers to prove that the Rectory is at last leak-free!  To see the days progress, check out what a great job was done.

Welcome Kasey Holyman

After being introduced to the parish in June, it was lovely to welcome Kasey Holyman back on Sunday 7th August, as she starts her time with us.  Please pray for Kasey as she studies and seeks discernment in her ministry and calling.

Pictured is Kasey (centre) with Fr Trevor and the serving team at Christ Church.

Farewell David Flower

After several farewells within the district, it was time for the people of Christ Church to farewell David Flower.

David has been wonderful in helping many people in the community re-establish their gardens after the Black Saturday Fires.  David is now going to concentrate on building his new home in Tenterfield and establishing his own new garden. It is certainly hoped that we will see him back from time to time.

Palm Sunday

Our traditional Palm Sunday celebrations at Christ Church started off in Church House with the opening prayers and the blessing of the palms, before processing through the church grounds into Christ Church where the Eucharist continued with the Ministry of the Word, and the reading of the Passion Gospel.  A great and wonderful way to begin Holy Week.
