Worship - online!
Our lives changed in 2020 due to COVID-19, and during the following three years, various lockdowns throughout the Parish, Diocese and world took place.
To enable those who were unable to worship in a public building and/or self isolating, we provided an online service each Sunday. These are available below for the three year liturgical cycle (Years A, B, and C) from Palm Sunday 2020 to Easter Day 2023.
All our services that are recorded, have been compiled from A Prayer Book for Australia Copyright © Broughton Publishing 1995.
Those liturgy parts from an Anglican Prayer Book 1989, © ACSA with permission from Cynthia Botha, publishing officer.

Part of the sermon by Bp Clarence Bester, during the Diocesan Morning Prayer "Zoom" service on the 13th Sunday after Pentecost
From Bp Clarence re: the Morning Prayer ‘Zoom’ service on Sunday 30th August….
Dear Clergy, Laity and Friends of the Diocese of Wangaratta,
Our sincere apologies to all those who were not able to connect or be admitted to the Diocesan Service through the Zoom App this morning. It is truly heart-warming to know that so many were going to connect and I have already made arrangements to upgrade our participant list to accommodate 300 persons. This morning was a real manifestation that we are the Body of Christ and that we are together even when separated due to border and lockdown restrictions. Once again, my apologies.
Our thanks to the Dean, The Very Rev’d Ken Goodger for arranging this service from the Mother Church of our Diocese and for the splendid music and participation. Thank you to all those who offered to be involved in leading the different sections of the service and for all those who managed to be part of it. It was a proud and very special moment for me as the Bishop of the Diocese.
Please remember our Wednesday Morning Prayer service at 9:30 for which a service and a link will be sent out by Monday afternoon and I can guarantee you that should we exceed 100, that all will be accommodated.
Every blessing,
+ Clarence
